An example of this is "Jurassic Park" where dinosaur DNA is extracted from a 65 million year old mosquitoe that is perserved in amber. While the process of extrcating the DNA id questinable at best, I don't think that anyone in the civilized world will truthfully say that dinosaurs didn't exist.

Eating dirt for minerals is an ancient tribal practice. I suspect that it is inherited. However, there is no healthy dirt in the inner-city, so those in the inner-city substitute with unhealthy dirt.

reason for enviromental concern
There should be more people concerned about the envirment. It's going to be to late in 25-50years from now food for thought. Let's do something now about the situaion now before it's too late. Soon were going to have to build houses on top of that garbage. Is that how you want to live think about it.

On the crest of the eastern Andes, about an eight-hour drive on a dirt road from Cuzco, Peru, is an expansive vista of one of the most diverse forests on earth. Storm clouds boil up in the pink evening sky, and fog advances over the foothills. The rain and fog suffuse the mountains with the moisture that makes them so astonishingly full of life.
Miles Silman, a biologist from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, brought me to this ridge to introduce me to the cloud forests of Peru. Clouds born of moisture rising from the Amazon River Basin sustain a great variety of trees, which in turn support ferns, mosses, bromeliads and orchids that struggle to lay down roots on any bare patch of bark. It’s these epiphytes (“epi” means “on top of,” and “phyte” means “plant”), plus the wet humus soil, the thick understory of plants and the immersion in clouds, that distinguish cloud forests from other types.
Silman and other scientists are attempting to catalog and understand the plant and animal life in Andean cloud forests before it’s too late. Oil companies, having found petroleum and natural gas in the surrounding lands, are cutting roads and pipelines that scientists say are damaging some plant populations. Also, local farmers and ranchers clear cloud forest to expand their operations and harvest firewood.
Most significant, the cloud forests here are threatened by climate change. In other parts of the world, warmer temperatures in the past century have pushed native species toward the geographic poles or altered their seasonal growth and migration. In North America, for example, the ranges of the blue-winged warbler and other songbirds have shifted north; barn swallows and other birds are migrating earlier in the spring than they once did; and plants are blooming sooner. But cloud forests may be particularly vulnerable to climate change.
Of 25 biodiversity hot spots worldwide that conservation groups say deserve special protection, the tropical Andes is the richest by far, says biologist Lee Hannah of Conservation International. The region has almost twice as many plant species and four times as many endemic plants—native species found nowhere else in the world—as the next place on the list, the forests between central Mexico and the Panama Canal.
Many of the Andean plants have “shoestring distributions.” That is, the area where they can root, grow and reproduce stretches over hundreds of miles horizontally—but only hundreds of feet vertically. Says Silman, “I could stand upslope and throw a rock across the elevational range of many different species.” These plants’ preferred altitudes—and therefore the altitudes of the birds and other animals that feed on them, pollinate their flowers and disperse their seeds—are determined largely by temperature. And as the Andes heat up through global warming, these plants may be evicted from their natural homes.

The Lost Land of Thule: A Legend Melts Away

Another melancholy gathering of climate scientists presented evidence this month that the Antarctic ice shelf is melting - a prospect difficult to imagine a decade ago. Not to be upstaged, climate change skeptics also held a conference in Britain, arguing that the dangers of climate change had been grossly exaggerated.
It may be many years before we know exactly what is happening right now to our planet's climate, and why. But after traveling extensively through the planet's northernmost regions, it seems clear to me that our sense of our power over the natural world has changed forever.
I journeyed from Scotland through Norway, Iceland, Greenland and to Svalbard, mostly in search of the land of Thule - the most northerly place of the ancient world. Thule was an early traveler's yarn, a tall tale about a northern land near a frozen ocean, draped in mist. In the fourth century BC, Pytheas the Greek claimed to have seen it. But his account was lost, and Thule was never identified with any certainty again.
From Pliny to Pope to Edgar Allen Poe, from Strabo to Shelley to Charlotte Brontë, Thule was used to evoke the pallor and purity of the ice, the mysteries of the far north. Columbus claimed he had found Thule, as did the British explorer Richard Burton and the Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen.
In modern times, the legend of Thule has given way to a complex story. In the 20th century the most northerly places were mapped by explorers with sledges and planes. The far north became a battlefield during World War II, and in the 1950s the U.S. Air Force established Thule Air Base in northern Greenland, so that bombers could fly across the North Pole to Moscow. The Arctic Ocean became a dumping ground for the nuclear pollution of the Russian Northern Fleet.
Now there are tours running across the far north, cruises along the coasts of Greenland, voyages to Arctic archipelagos. You can fly to the North Pole for champagne on the ancient ice. For all of this, the Arctic wilderness is still beautiful, breathtaking in its vastness. But as I traveled through it, I realized that something fundamental is changing in our relation to the world's frozen places.
In early times, the far north was imagined as a place lying between the worlds of gods and men. Herodotus wrote about the Hyperboreans, an immortal tribe living beyond the north wind, supping with the gods, inviting Apollo round for a dance and dinner. Thule was a land beyond the reach of humans, a place entwined with the outlandish - unipeds, the seven sleepers, a great whirlpool at the Pole, the ocean's navel.
Even the modern explorers, as they struggled across the ice, knew that nature was formidable, that they could do nothing to change the laws of frost and snow. Some of their best ideas were about submitting to the forces of nature - allowing their ships to become trapped in the ice that drifts around the Pole, hoping they would be drawn northward.
Now humans can fundamentally alter the balance of elements, thaw an ice shelf or two, set in progress a chain of reactions that will melt the frozen ocean. We can't stop the reactions once they begin, but we can definitely start them. All the remoteness of the far north can't save it from a shift in global temperature.
The scientists make one sort of argument, about the physical effects and their practical consequences. This is necessary and important. But as I journeyed through the frozen north, I encountered something less tangible, something about our guardianship of the dreams of successive civilizations, the myths of our planet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams, that sort of thing.
There can be no more significant symbol of the loss of Thule - and all the dreams that came with it, all the beauty and strangeness - than the melting of the polar ice. It might be speculation, to be disproved at a later stage; the forecasts of these climate scientists might be mocked by later generations as one more theory of the ignorant. The question that kept running through my head as I wandered through the north, sifting the ideals of lost civilizations, was how we could be so crazy as to risk it. And I kept imagining a time when the frozen ocean and all the creatures that lived in it would be nothing more than fairy tales, stories from a vanished world.

PARIS (AP) – France's space agency is opening up its secret “X-Files'' – three decades of research into UFO sightings, including police reports, witness sketches and maps that scientists used to search for logical explanations behind mysterious phenomena in the skies.
The first batch of archives went up on the agency's Web site Thursday, and the pages have had so much traffic that the site has been tough to access since.
Only about 9 percent of France's UFO cases have ever been fully explained, the group says, while experts have found likely reasons for another 33 percent of cases.

The agency, known by its French initials CNES, said it went public with the documents to draw the scientific community's attention to unexplained cases – and because their secrecy generated buzz, with many people suspicious that officials were hiding something.
Jacques Patenet, the director of the agency's UFO cell, said everything in the archive would be published online, with the exception of psychological reports about witnesses as well as their names.
“The public sector needs an official group that can take these phenomena into account and, in most cases, respond to public observations,'' Patenet said. “The great danger would be to leave the field open to sects and charlatans.''
The archive contains about 100,000 documents from those cases – including expert reports, drawings by witnesses and some audio and video files.
Starting in 1977, French space agency researchers tried, usually with limited funding and staff, to explain reports of unidentified flying objects. Many cases were easy – the objects were simply unusual clouds or space debris falling back into the atmosphere, the CNES said.
Other cases were impossible to crack. The most baffling cases were labeled “Class D aerospace phenomena'' – which the agency defines as “inexplicable despite precise testimonies and the (good) quality of material information gathered.'' Some 28 percent of the agency's files fall into the category.
Most of the time, Patenet said, witnesses were sincere about what they saw.
“Very few of them were looking for publicity, as most of them feared most of all that they would not be taken seriously,'' he said. Still, there were frauds.
In 1979, in Cergy-Pontoise outside Paris, a man showed up at a police station claiming that his friend had been abducted by a UFO – a bright light that appeared on the road and swallowed up his car. Several days later, the man purportedly reappeared in a field, emerging out of a sphere of light.
Investigators went so far as to test the man's blood for signs that he had recently experienced weightlessness – and they found none. The group labeled it a hoax.
Some cases took years to unravel. In 1985, two farmers near the Atlantic coastal city of Royan saw a burning object drop into a field nearby.
Experts initially concluded that it was part of the propulsion device of a recently launched satellite. Eventually they realized it was a piece of leftover German World War II ordnance that spontaneously exploded four decades after the war and launched into the sky, the agency said.
Among the unexplained cases, one of the most perplexing concerned a 1994 Air France flight. While flying over the Paris region, the airplane's crew noticed a large brown-red disk hovering in the horizon and constantly changing shape. The case “has never been explained to this day, and leaves the door open to all possible hypotheses,'' the agency wrote.

Land of the free?
America is such a wonderfully free country that I thoroughly understand why the Bush administration, like the Clinton administration before it, is so eager to take our freedoms and spread them across the globe. Without the U.S. government, backwards peoples will have to labor on in their own delusions, never understanding what true liberty is all about.
I am so free. If I want to paint my house, or build a deck out back, or install a new air-conditioning system, I am free to call the building inspector and get his approval first. If I want to put a new toilet in the bathroom, I am free to buy only the low-flow toilets the government approves. I am free to buy a property near the beach, provided the government Coastal Commission approves whatever I want to do with that property. That approval might take decades, and the final thing that I build will be what the commissioners want there, not what I want, but I am free nonetheless.
I know I am free because this is America. And America is a free country – the best one in the whole darned world. If you don’t like our freedoms, you should move somewhere else.

I am so free. If I want to paint my house, or build a deck out back, or install a new air-conditioning system, I am free to call the building inspector and get his approval first. If I want to put a new toilet in the bathroom, I am free to buy only the low-flow toilets the government approves. I am free to buy a property near the beach, provided the government Coastal Commission approves whatever I want to do with that property. That approval might take decades, and the final thing that I build will be what the commissioners want there, not what I want, but I am free nonetheless.

Paul the false prophet

Just because Paul said some things that have since come true, was he therefore a real prophet? Just look at how he followwed G-d's commandment's, not only did he repeatedly break them but he also called them a burdon! It is believed that Paul was in the mystery-cult of Mithras, mystery-cults left no written record and popped up mysteriously about that time. Ironically, Mithraism is also astrology-based. He knew the prophecies of the early Christian church (which were based on the prophecies of Judaism) because "it's wise to study the ways of an enemy". Paul also taught a doctrine different from Jesus (research Christian differences before and after Paul). So what if he wrote most of the Christian New Testament? If a prooven liar tells you that "a rattlesnake is poisinous", is that liar now a saint? Paul's original name was Saul, and that little fact automatically removes him from the one that walked with Jesus.

Matthew 24:4-5 states you will be deceived by people that come using Jesus’ name. Consider the parable of the sower. Jesus was warning us then that as soon as His Gospel was preached, the enemy (Paul) would be there to steal the truth!

For to be a female and in the ministry of the Lord, you had to turn your back on Paul to follow Jesus. Congrats! You figured it out! You refused to buy into the lie pie Satan tried to sell you as Paul!
I'm going to make some startling points to wake your mind up into the truth, so hear me out, then I'll go through and explain each one and give you all the proof you need to see for yourself that what I'm saying is indeed the truth.
Paul was Satan in the Flesh
Paul was never recognized as an apostle by the Disciples OR Jesus
Paul was never trained by the disciples, the men who walked, talked, and broke bread with our Saviour. He received his knowledge from "revelations."
Paul's account of his Damascus Road Experience changed every time he told it, thus the disciples knew he was lying.
Paul declared he was teaching another Gospel of which he himself was the Father
Paul declared he himself was the son of God
Paul issued his own commandments and laws for people to adhere to
Paul taught the exact Opposite of what Jesus and His real disciples did.

Paul condemned Jesus and His disciples for false teachings, he condemned Jesus Himself for having long hair in 1 Corinthians 11:14, something approved in Numbers 6:5 and Judges 13:5.
Jesus Said: Keep the Sabbath (Mark 2:27), circumcise male children (Luke 2:21), Paul Said: Circumcision is not necessary (Romans 2:26) that is going against what the Christ said in Luke 2:21.
In 1 Corinthians 15:1 Paul says that he was not giving them anything but what “he preached.” He explained this even further in the second book (or letter) to the Corinthians (2 Corinthians 11:17). 'PAUL' FALSELY CLAIMED THAT HE WAS AN APOSTLE TO THE GENTILES
That the APOSTLE PETER was the Divinely appointed "APOSTLE TO THE GENTILES" was unquestioned by The Twelve Apostles of The Lamb as PETER himself reminded them, at the Council meeting in Jerusalem: "After there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, "Brethren, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe" (Acts 15:7). At the same Council meeting the false apostle 'Paul' had "SECRETLY CREPT IN" (Jude 4) by changing his name from Saul to 'Paul'. When PETER had completed his testimony the false apostle 'Paul' sought to assert his self-assumed apostolic authority by "showing signs and wonders to deceive, if possible the elected twelve, as Yeshua (Jesus) had warned" (Acts 15:12. Matthew 24:24). When this failed the devil and false apostle 'Paul' later sought to usurp the Divinely appointed authority of the APOSTLE PETER as the "APOSTLE TO THE GENTILES". 'Paul'wrote the LIE to his Galation followers that he ('Paul')and NOT PETER "was entrusted with the gospel to the Gentiles" (Galations 2:7). In that same infamous letter 'Paul' also attacked the integrity of the faithful apostle PETER by making un-corroborated and FALSE CHARGES against PETER. These same LIES have been preached and written about by Pauline Christian ministers for the last two thousand years.
PAUL IDENTIFIED BY THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST 666 ( Revelation 13:18 )

The association of "Lateinos" with 666 was acknowledged, with great embarassment, by the historian IRENAEUS (ca. 130-202 A.D.),in his document 'Against Heresies', "For the Latins are they who at present bear rule...this being the name of the last kingdom (of the four seen by Daniel)...I will not, however, make any boast over this (coincidence)...".

'PAUL' THE FIRST CHRISTIAN POPE
As foretold by JESUS, when THE DEVIL, THE ANTICHRIST, THE ABOMINATION WHICH MAKES DESOLTATE, AND FALSE APOSTLE 'PAUL' had FOUNDED CHRISTIANITY, "HE WENT AWAY"(Matthew 13:25) to ROME.
Having secured safe passage,under the patronage of CAESAR, he was taken to to ROME, under the pretence of being a prisoner. Upon arrival at Rome 'Paul' was installed in a luxurious villa where " he was allowed to stay by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him (for his own protection)" (Acts 27:1. 28:16). This "soldier" was the very first of the " vatican guards " supplied by CAESAR to provide protection to 'Paul' and his papal successors. Everyone of the christian Popes, who have since succeeded the first Pope 'Paul', to the office of the papacy, are identified by the same NUMBER OF THE BEAST (666). Like 'PAUL' the Christian Popes BLASPHEMOUSLY claim the Titles "HOLY FATHER" and 'vicar of christ (instead of christ); which is inscribed on their tiaras.

THE QUALIFICATIONS OF A TRUE APOSTLE
The QUALIFICATIONS of a TRUE APOSTLE OF JESUS CHRIST were spelled out by THE APOSTLE PETER, when a successor to Judas was appointed: " Therefore of these men who have accompanied us ALL THE TIME that the Lord Jesus went in and out amongst us; BEGINNING FROM THE BAPTISM OF JOHN until that SAME DAY WHEN HE WAS TAKEN UP FROM US, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of HIS RESURRECTION" (Acts 1:21,22 ).
THIS DIVINE TEST WAS APPLIED BY THE DISCIPLES AT EPHESUS WHICH PROVED THAT PAUL, BARNABAS, TIMOTHY, SILVANUS and OTHERS WERE FALSE APOSTLES AND LIARS (Revelation 2:2) THESE LIARS FAILED TO MEET THE TEST SET BY PETER THIS SAME TEST PROVES THAT EVERY POPE AND OTHERS WHO CLAIM THAT THEY ARE APOSTLES ARE ALSO LIARS
There are those who will vehemently defend the inerrancy of the Word of God and then completely ignore HOW it was compiled, filtered, and put together by pagans!
The Council of Nicea in 325 in Rome DECIDED for us what books would be included and what would be official church doctrine. Constantine was the ultimate approver or disprover, not a Spirit led born again believer in Jesus! Most will claim Constantine was a believer, what they don't tell you is that Constantine didn't convert until he was on his deathbed! Which means the early church majority did nothing as a pagan compiled and TOLD US what doctrine was true or false!
It is the duty of every believer in Y'hoshua Jesus to go back and learn what the truth really is before Constantine corrupted the church!

The following list cites some of the ways that Paul fulfills the role of Satan-in-the-flesh who comes immediately and takes away the Word of God that was sown in man's heart:
Paul came on the heels of our Lord when the disciples had just begun doing the works of spreading the Word that God had set before them. Paul's assaults against, and imprisonment of, the Lord's disciples then snatched the Truth away from the people who had only begun to hear Truth spoken through those imprisoned disciples.
After Paul's conversion, his distortion of the Lord's Doctrine taught by the disciples immediately following the disciples' works stole the Truth away from the people who had heard what the disciples had said but then trusted Paul's lies.
When Paul started preaching, he infuriated people so severely that they wanted to murder him. By distracting people's attention away from hearing and adhering to the Word of God, Paul was snatching the Truth away from them.
By the time the Lord's disciples had figured out that Paul was a heavy-duty bad guy, it was too late. Christianity's founder, Paul had already become firmly enmeshed in the Christian mind as being the Lord's greatest apostle. Thus, even though Peter and James wrote the letter confronting Paul's apostasy, Satan had already taken the Truth away from the Christians. Christian leaders destroyed the letter, and adamently defended Paul's apostasy. In doing so, the Christian fathers were asserting that Paul was superior to Peter, and that Paul, not Peter, was the rock upon whom the Lord built His church.
When the Bible was printed into the form of one book, Paul's writings were inserted to the right of the Gospel. All the people who studied the Gospel and received it, but then turned to Paul's dogma and trusted it as being authentically of God, had the Truth taken away from them by Satan Paul's horrendous misinterpretations and misapplications of the Gospel.
When we go to a Christian church and hear the Word of God spoken, the vast majority of times the priest or preacher will then attempt to interpret and override the Truth spoken by Jesus with Paul's blasphemous dogmanure. The people who then trust their priests and preachers to be telling God's Truth immediately experience Satan taking away their understanding of the Word of God from them.
Some of the words that the Spirit of the Son of man spoke to the Old Testament prophets have been lost, polluted, twisted, and distorted by false interpretations of their writings. Such is especially true of David's psalms. Wherever the Christian scribes and translators did not understand what was being said, they inserted words that had not been written by the prophets at all, and they did so from the position of applying Paul's dogma to the prophets' writings. Therein was Paul again the primary source of having the Truth snatched away from people.

In his first letter to his Corinthian followers, 'Paul'dared to quote from the The Prophet Jeremiah "JUST AS IT IS WRITTEN, LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD."(1 Corinthians 1:31). With this BLASPHEMOUS 'boast', the devil and false apostle 'Paul' introduced, to mankind, "THE CROSS", as "THE MARK OF THE BEAST" (Rev 19:20).
'PAUL' MISQUOTED PSALM 68:18 to MAKE WAY FOR THE MANY ANTICHRISTS. The devil and false apostle 'Paul' MISQUOTED the words of PSALM 68:18, in his infamous letter to the Ephesians where he TOOK AWAY FROM the words of 68:18 which read "HE (GOD,THE FATHER) RECEIVED gifts FROM among men" (Verse 18). The devil 'Paul' CHANGED THE WORDS OF PSALM 68:18 to read "he('another jesus') GAVE gifts TO men" (Ephesians 4:8) to justify his appointment of "THE TARES, THE CHILDREN OF THE EVIL ONE" (Matthew 13:25,38).

'Paul' himself gave them titles: " Apostles and prophets, fathers, pastors, evangelists and teachers...bishops, deacons,exorcists, miracle workers, speakers in unknown languages, administrators etc " (Eph 4:11. Phil. 1:1. 1 Corinthians 4:15). These can be found within the *TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND* CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS and bearing the following diabolical titles: Popes, cardinals, patriarchs, moderators, monsignors, apostles, prophets, fathers, pastors, teachers, evangelists, bishops, deacons, miracle workers, speakers in unknown tongues, exorcists, administrators, priests, sisters, nuns, clergy, clergymen, 'christian brothers' etc.
Paul said, “For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?” This is the kind of man that Christianity was based on? The whole law concerning Christianity hangs on the words of a man who lied to get your loyalty? He altered the teachings of Jesus Christ as well as remitted the laws of the Prophets (Matthew 5:17-18) He said over and over that it was ok to lie to get people to believe what you were preaching/teaching! Then he couldn't get it! He was complaining of being judged as a sinner even if his lying was "meant" to produce good!" What Good comes from lying? although the above links were not written by me, she hits it right on the head! Read how a recovering alcoholic finds Jesus and is shown the truth about Paul! Humorous at times, it's packed with information! I dont' agree with everything these sites say, but they hit Paul on the head and reveal who and what he really was.
Ok, so now you're wondering if any of this is really true. When Yah kept leading me to this there were many times I had my doubts. So I know what you're going through and thinking. Yah kept bringing several of the points made on this website to my mind. He led me to people and places and books for a long time before I finally accepted it as the self evident truth that it is. Some of the facts He kept bringing to my mind during times of doubt and questioning and prayer were these:
1. There are three different accounts of Paul's testimony of the Damascus Road Revelation that we know of in the Scriptures (probably many more that we don't even know of), the very words out of Paul's mouth. All 3 were different accounts of the same event. These weren't translation errors, they were different stories of the same event as told by PAUL. Why the differences? Because Liars can't keep up with the truth. The Apostles didn't believe Paul's story and we shouldn't either.
2. After this "divine revelation" Paul disappeared for 2 years into the wilderness to receive more and more revelations. There were never any accounts listed anywhere from any of the soldiers or witnesses who were there to confirm that this event really happened. He never sought the disciples or to learn from them Yah's ways and teachings directly from the men who knew Yah the most. He claimed by divine revelation the very falsehood that almost got him excommunicated from the church completely! He argued with the apostles that circumcision was no longer necessary and in Jesus would profit them nothing when circumcision was a command, a sign of the covenant Yah made with Israel! To escape excommunication, Paul relented and stopped preaching his falsehood on circumcision. In other words, Paul's revelation wasn't so divine when it was held up and scrutinized in God's Word. Paul was exposed for the fraud and liar he was! And instead of dealing with him once and for all the disciples "swept him under the rug."
I don't think any of the apostles realized at the time how dangerous this Paul was going to be to the church today. When they visited cities and towns Paul had preached in, they spent their time undoing the damage Paul did and setting the people straight on doctrine. In fact it got so bad the entire area of Asia completely rejected Paul! They didn't even want to see him! When he was thrown in prison in Rome the people wouldn't even visit him!
Yet, almost half of the New Testament today are books Paul wrote. Hindsight..would have been nice. But Yah allowed it to serve His own purposes. Just as He allowed the serpent to bequile Eve in the garden of Eden.
How many preachers today have "divine revelations" and have introduced false, heretical, and blasphemous teachings and doctrines into the churches?
Now you know where it started.
3. Some will say that through translations Paul's words were twisted and he was made to look bad by the transcribers themselves. For this, I refer you to point #1 and #2.

Just because Paul said some things that have since come true, was he therefore a real prophet? Just look at how he followwed G-d's commandment's, not only did he repeatedly break them but he also called them a burdon! It is believed that Paul was in the mystery-cult of Mithras, mystery-cults left no written record and popped up mysteriously about that time. Ironically, Mithraism is also astrology-based. He knew the prophecies of the early Christian church (which were based on the prophecies of Judaism) because "it's wise to study the ways of an enemy". Paul also taught a doctrine different from Jesus (research Christian differences before and after Paul). So what if he wrote most of the Christian New Testament? If a prooven liar tells you that "a rattlesnake is poisinous", is that liar now a saint? Paul's original name was Saul, and that little fact automatically removes him from the one that walked with Jesus.

***The real (untranslated) name of Jesus is Y'hoshua (pronounced like the name Joshua but with a Y, YoHoshua, some pronounce his name as Yeshua). All refer to the Son of God who came as the promised Messiah who died on the cross for our sins and rose again.
Now before you throw a tantrum and wonder why I haven't been struck by lightening straight from the throne room of God, I can prove to you that Paul was a Fraud using his own words. Of course, if you're a female, and you're in the ministry, you already know he was, you probably just didn't realize it! For to be a female and in the ministry of the Lord, you had to turn your back on Paul to follow Jesus. Congrats! You figured it out! You refused to buy into the lie pie Satan tried to sell you as Paul!

Paul issued his own commandments and laws for people to adhere to

Paul was never repentant for being the greatest persecutor of Christians at that time! He boasted about it! Over and Over!
Paul said God's law was a Curse. Jesus said it was a blessing. Who's lying?
Paul condemned Jesus and His disciples for false teachings, he condemned Jesus Himself for having long hair in 1 Corinthians 11:14, something approved in Numbers 6:5 and Judges 13:5.

There are those who will vehemently defend the inerrancy of the Word of God and then completely ignore HOW it was compiled, filtered, and put together by pagans!
The Council of Nicea in 325 in Rome DECIDED for us what books would be included and what would be official church doctrine. Constantine was the ultimate approver or disprover, not a Spirit led born again believer in Jesus! Most will claim Constantine was a believer, what they don't tell you is that Constantine didn't convert until he was on his deathbed! Which means the early church majority did nothing as a pagan compiled and TOLD US what doctrine was true or false!

The following list cites some of the ways that Paul fulfills the role of Satan-in-the-flesh who comes immediately and takes away the Word of God that was sown in man's heart:
Paul came on the heels of our Lord when the disciples had just begun doing the works of spreading the Word that God had set before them. Paul's assaults against, and imprisonment of, the Lord's disciples then snatched the Truth away from the people who had only begun to hear Truth spoken through those imprisoned disciples.
After Paul's conversion, his distortion of the Lord's Doctrine taught by the disciples immediately following the disciples' works stole the Truth away from the people who had heard what the disciples had said but then trusted Paul's lies.
When Paul started preaching, he infuriated people so severely that they wanted to murder him. By distracting people's attention away from hearing and adhering to the Word of God, Paul was snatching the Truth away from them.
By the time the Lord's disciples had figured out that Paul was a heavy-duty bad guy, it was too late. Christianity's founder, Paul had already become firmly enmeshed in the Christian mind as being the Lord's greatest apostle. Thus, even though Peter and James wrote the letter confronting Paul's apostasy, Satan had already taken the Truth away from the Christians. Christian leaders destroyed the letter, and adamently defended Paul's apostasy. In doing so, the Christian fathers were asserting that Paul was superior to Peter, and that Paul, not Peter, was the rock upon whom the Lord built His church.
When the Bible was printed into the form of one book, Paul's writings were inserted to the right of the Gospel. All the people who studied the Gospel and received it, but then turned to Paul's dogma and trusted it as being authentically of God, had the Truth taken away from them by Satan Paul's horrendous misinterpretations and misapplications of the Gospel.
When we go to a Christian church and hear the Word of God spoken, the vast majority of times the priest or preacher will then attempt to interpret and override the Truth spoken by Jesus with Paul's blasphemous dogmanure. The people who then trust their priests and preachers to be telling God's Truth immediately experience Satan taking away their understanding of the Word of God from them.
Some of the words that the Spirit of the Son of man spoke to the Old Testament prophets have been lost, polluted, twisted, and distorted by false interpretations of their writings. Such is especially true of David's psalms. Wherever the Christian scribes and translators did not understand what was being said, they inserted words that had not been written by the prophets at all, and they did so from the position of applying Paul's dogma to the prophets' writings. Therein was Paul again the primary source of having the Truth snatched away from people.

although the above links were not written by me, she hits it right on the head! Read how a recovering alcoholic finds Jesus and is shown the truth about Paul! Humorous at times, it's packed with information! I dont' agree with everything these sites say, but they hit Paul on the head and reveal who and what he really was.
Ok, so now you're wondering if any of this is really true. When Yah kept leading me to this there were many times I had my doubts. So I know what you're going through and thinking. Yah kept bringing several of the points made on this website to my mind. He led me to people and places and books for a long time before I finally accepted it as the self evident truth that it is. Some of the facts He kept bringing to my mind during times of doubt and questioning and prayer were these:
1. There are three different accounts of Paul's testimony of the Damascus Road Revelation that we know of in the Scriptures (probably many more that we don't even know of), the very words out of Paul's mouth. All 3 were different accounts of the same event. These weren't translation errors, they were different stories of the same event as told by PAUL. Why the differences? Because Liars can't keep up with the truth. The Apostles didn't believe Paul's story and we shouldn't either.
2. After this "divine revelation" Paul disappeared for 2 years into the wilderness to receive more and more revelations. There were never any accounts listed anywhere from any of the soldiers or witnesses who were there to confirm that this event really happened. He never sought the disciples or to learn from them Yah's ways and teachings directly from the men who knew Yah the most. He claimed by divine revelation the very falsehood that almost got him excommunicated from the church completely! He argued with the apostles that circumcision was no longer necessary and in Jesus would profit them nothing when circumcision was a command, a sign of the covenant Yah made with Israel! To escape excommunication, Paul relented and stopped preaching his falsehood on circumcision. In other words, Paul's revelation wasn't so divine when it was held up and scrutinized in God's Word. Paul was exposed for the fraud and liar he was! And instead of dealing with him once and for all the disciples "swept him under the rug."
I don't think any of the apostles realized at the time how dangerous this Paul was going to be to the church today. When they visited cities and towns Paul had preached in, they spent their time undoing the damage Paul did and setting the people straight on doctrine. In fact it got so bad the entire area of Asia completely rejected Paul! They didn't even want to see him! When he was thrown in prison in Rome the people wouldn't even visit him!
Yet, almost half of the New Testament today are books Paul wrote. Hindsight..would have been nice. But Yah allowed it to serve His own purposes. Just as He allowed the serpent to bequile Eve in the garden of Eden.
How many preachers today have "divine revelations" and have introduced false, heretical, and blasphemous teachings and doctrines into the churches?

3. Some will say that through translations Paul's words were twisted and he was made to look bad by the transcribers themselves. For this, I refer you to point #1 and #2.

negligible humens
You are negligible in the grand scheme of things. You were born, have lived up untill this point, will continue to live after this, and will eventually die. The universe will continue on as it always has without you. So get over it already. Why the big charade of religion? Because God wanted some entertainment. Is all of existance just some sort of sick game? Unfortunatly, yes. God could live on without you. So why did "he" create you? Just because he wanted some cheap entertainment. Cheap to him, not to us.

God simply doesn’t exist. What’s that you say? 95% of the world’s population thinks otherwise? That’s because only 5% have the balls to accept that once we’re done here, we’re done forever. Look up, though…it’s not like we’ll know it. We’ll be done, and thus nothing, or the space between the borders of 0, while the world goes on without us. That’s right, the world does exist without you in it.
Life is waiting to die. You’re a giant walking compost heap, fertilizing the world around you. We leave little bits and pieces of ourselves where we sit, and various microbes feed on you from the inside out.
In the back of all our minds, don’t we know this already? Why do you think Moslems kill Israelites, or visa versa? Or why zealots of pro-life shoot abortion doctors? When was the last time god needed any help in his smiting? Deep down, we know there is no heaven or hell, and that punishment belongs in our hands, to mete out to the guilty when we believe we’ve been wronged. Life is the rarest of gifts, death the ultimate of punishments.

But then, maybe there is a God. Does he care, though? Do you hear the screams of mortality from your dust mites? Do you hear their pleas when they become sick, and cry out in sorrow? Do you know Dust Mite Bob? How about his date of birth? When he got married? When he had little Dust Mite Bob Junior, did you know he thanked you? Did you know that when his wife died, and he cried every night in anguish, tears streaking his pillow, he asked you to watch over her? Did you know that Dust Mite Bob’s life was snuffed out just the other day, and now he’s rotting under your skin?
Our universe is continuously expanding, and one day, far, far into the future, it will dissipate, like gas particles in a big open field. Oh, that’s just some silly scientific “theory?” Go stand on the edge of a black hole, and tell me what really happens. Tell me if you accelerate towards the speed of light, or that as you enter the event horizon, you aren’t torn atom from atom. Test that theory, and just give us all a ring when you’re done. The universe is God’s fart, and our reality stinks.

On the other hand, perhaps God does know we exist. Maybe he did create heaven and hell, the angels, you and me, and everything in between. Maybe he fashioned all the rules, is omnipotent, and exists outside our concept of time and space. Is he the Father? Then the deck has been stacked, and in all likelihood, your father hates you.
How can I say such a horrible thing? Did God not put Hitler on this earth? Did God not put that bully, that robber, that rapist, that killer, and all those other nasty things here to torment the “innocent,” knowing full well what, when, where, and how, it would happen? No? That was Satan’s fault?
God created Lucifer, and his current residence, from nothing, and knew what the angel would do before the poor devil had done it. God, whether directly or indirectly, created all these things, and knew the outcome, just as he knows you scratched your ass yesterday. If you’re “evil,” an atheist, agnostic, gay, American Indian, Hindu, Jewish, Moslem, or anything not “Christian,” or Catholic, then he made you, or allowed you to be made, to go directly to hell; regardless of nature or nurture.
How does it feel to know that your father made you to suffer for all eternity? You’re not wanted, and never were, from the moment of conception (not to mention both before and after). If I were Lucifer, I would have quit a long time ago. You can’t win. You know you can’t win. You know that the only father you ever knew hates you so much, he made hell your prison. The Lord of Flies, or the Lord of Rejection? Where would Lucifer go if he committed suicide? Home? I think we give him to much credit. If I were Lucifer, I would have given up caring a long time ago. Can Lucifer quit his job?
Then again, Lucifer isn’t human, is he? He was made to fill a specific and single-minded role, as a puppet. Hell is a God owned property, and God is the slumlord. He made Hellview Apartments, and appointed Lucifer the manager. He’s choosing who goes where, like a bouncer at the door of a posh club. Lucifer isn’t torturing you for all eternity, God is. Lucifer is just there to make sure the rent is collected on time.

God can’t hate you? That can’t be true? Then that would mean someone, along the path of religion’s development, has lied. Why do you think anything construed as anti-religious, anything that could cause doubt in what is popularly read, is conspicuously missing from any school book less than college level? Manipulation and molding are much easier on a young mind, one gullible and not so set in its ways.
Proof? Gilgamesh, a Babylonian version of Noah’s flood, was penned before Noah himself is said to have existed, as written in the bible. The notion of Adam was taken from the idea of “the first man,” who after having lived one thousand, five hundred, and sixty years, “produced” a tree from which the human race was born. The seed of hell sprung from Babylonian origin, became the Sheol of the Jews, and finally wound up as the Christian’s idea of hell. My sources? Sources, in a religious argument, matter nothing to the one arguing for religion. If I quote a source, it then becomes a matter of whom my source quoted. Like standing between parallel mirrors.
Religion states man isn’t perfect, yet man wrote the bible, even if some of the information came from a burning bush, or a thunder cloud to Moses. Bits and pieces have been left out over the millennia, like an editor snipping a badly articulated editorial. How about the book of Enoch, or Jesus' supposed childhood? All oddly missing from the final cut, the one that reached the hands of the masses. Not to mention that the King James version of the bible, the copy so widely accepted as the one “true” gospel, was produced by the hands of Catholics, who for centuries practiced the convolution of biblical writings for financial, political, and sexual gain.
Did you know that the papal crown was offered up for sale on more than one occasion? Benedict IX, who landed upon that cushy throne at the tender age of twelve, passed no chance to ring up more points on the ol' depravity and debauchery score hanging over that prestigious position. But then, we seem to know that what is written by man, as supposedly given by God, isn’t true. Why do you think Jihads and religious persecutions occur? You break a man’s jaw, and he won’t be able to speak. It only takes one hole in a raft to let the ocean in.
What does all this mean then? It probably means that you should have heart, and that God, if he exists, loves you for the work of art he created you to be. After all, God’s not likely to make mistakes. If so, I guess he wasn’t God in the first place. But then again, I’ve never spoken to God via nature, so I’m forced to admit I’m not on a person-to-deity relationship with him.

What do I believe? Not that it really matters, but the question has probably surfaced in your mind. I believe that science and religion are one and the same. Heretical? I’m going to hell? Save your mouth for giving me head, because, as you can plainly read, I don’t believe in such a place…and no amount of whining, hate spewing, and finger jiggling is going to change that. You want to get in my face and force your point of view, perhaps with a big stick to beat it into me? I’ll grab that little branch, shove it up your ass, break off the end so you can’t pull it out, and then laugh at you when you wobble around like an albatross.
Now, let me explain my reasoning for what was written a moment ago. When I was a boy, I bought some obscure board game from a yard sale, minus the directions. Sitting down at that board, with my sibling, I could do one of two things. I could, A: Simply play the game without a care of it all; or B: Use all mental faculties I possessed to figure out the rules.
Religion spends all of its time haphazardly playing the game and carelessly flinging the pieces about, and science spends all of its time picking apart the most minute of details, never bothering to have fun with what he has before him. Just because science wants to figure out the rules, though, doesn’t mean that “God” didn’t write them. As long as the two bicker, snarl, and bite, there’s never going to be a happy medium. If there was a “Satan,” he would certainly flourish in such a chaotic climate.
At one point I was strongly atheistic, but something my father said to me, who oddly enough is also an atheist, changed my view in one brilliant flash of insight. “Son? You can explain away everything, all the way to the big bang, but at some point, there’s nothing left, and you have to accept the inevitability of something else.” Next stop, agnostic.
I decided that yes indeed, there was some massive power beyond any human comprehension, but religion wasn’t the answer. Anything that would threaten, torture, and murder the innocent, all in the name of unholy righteousness, was, in my eyes, plainly “evil.” I didn’t need to be a certified theologian, or spend years going to church, to reach that conclusion.
But then, if God did exist, and assuming he could hear us, why would he be so interested in what occurred in the world around us? Why would he use up so much energy to make the jump from inorganic material to organic material? What’s that you say? Inorganic material? What do you think you’re made of? Minerals found in the dirt, oxygen mixed in, and a good ol' cup of water to finish it off. You are molecules composed of atoms, composed of electrons and neutrons, composed of tiny little quarks and such. Our brain interprets your table as being made of wood, metal, or plastic, but in reality, what you’re interacting with is a complex field of force.
The only conclusion I could draw, the only scenario I could produce, would involve me jumping forward a few billion light years into the future. Man is the only animal that, with the development of his brain, no longer has to be subject to natural selection due to our environment. If it becomes cold, we throw on some furs. If saber-toothed tigers invaded our home, we picked up our flint ax and started whoopin' some big furry butt. Speed forward a coupla million years, and now, through inducing focused unnatural selection upon ourselves, we can manipulate our own genes. The world freezes over? We create genes that give us the abilities of polar bears, and we walk around buck-naked. Gets to hot to travel any distance on foot? We improve our own cooling systems.
Now make that jump I said earlier, to the end of our ever expanding gas bubble of a universe, when the distances between galaxies have become so great that you can’t reach your neighbor without breaking the known laws of physics, and we’re now faced with not only the possibility of extinction, but with a complete lack of existence. Shrinking the universe would take to much, and there is no other star that can warm us enough to not freeze into solid chunks of pretty symmetrical ice crystals.
What then? Perhaps defy time, that forever-marching bastard, and step out of its confines? We have now become something more. We are, or have become, for lack of a better word, “God.” Now, the survival of the puny human race is essential to “God’s” own survival, and what you and I had for breakfast is of great interest to that omnipotent power beyond our current concept of time and space.
But you belong to a religion, and my point of view is disconcerting to you, or even downright manic? Perk up, for I do believe there is a place for whatever religion you may follow. “Hell,” or some other place of punishment, is needed for a society to advance. Where would we be if the rules set down by Moses or Hammurabi still applied? We’d be stuck at “you kill my dog, I’ll kill yours,” and thus not much better off than most of the countries of the Middle East. It’s easier to let go of the fact your next-door neighbor cuts up and eats your kid when hell looms behind them like a mountain.

Well you don’t like conventional mainstream religions, and you don’t like what I’ve just put forth, so what’s a person to believe in? Good question, for we all need something to grasp to make the thought of death bearable.
How about Theosophy? This is the principle that upon man’s death, one moves through several stages before ultimately merging with God. So what’s the first stage? The victim, being unable to cope with his or her own demise, clings desperately to a wispy version of life, thus suffering. This is Theosophies version of hell, and luckily, only lasts about as long as the average living human’s lifespan, changing when the soul reaches “enlightenment.” Although I must point out that it’s written that, should you be sufficiently spiritual upon death, you can “will” yourself past this first step. A couple of phases further in your new afterlife, you will be able to create any reality you wish with only a thought. This, I would think, could have its perks.
You could go the route of “Satanist.” No, not the Satanist on television or in movies, who sits around reading the bible backwards. This would be too much trouble. Instead, this is the belief that Jehovah, or Adonai, or whatever other name the popular conception of God goes by, is actually the force of evil upon our world. Why is everyone so quick to believe that God spoke to him or her through his or her dog or television set? I’d seriously query such a contact. In this line of thinking, Lucifer is God.
How about the belief that we’re all just one shard of God’s own fractured personality, and in the end we join with the whole once more? For those of you who hate being wrong, this could be your cup of tea.
No? Then maybe the belief that there is only “here,” and “heaven.” In this version, we’re all fallen angels, i.e. demons, stuck in human form. We are “born” without this knowledge, to make our separation from God that much more bearable. This could go far in explaining the world around us.
You could go ancient world, and just think of death as that shadowy after-realm, where you flit about pretending to be alive, and everything, I assume, is in black and white. This may get boring pretty quick, though.
How about a big stride back on the ol' evolutionary chart of religion, and go for animism or fetishism? You’d certainly have more respect for the physical world around you. Or, finally, how about just this one simple tenet: Follow your heart, and not the directive of some freak that speaks in tongues, suffers ecstatic attacks, and rolls upon the floor of a church when hearing a sermon. God simply doesn’t exist. What’s that you say? 95% of the world’s population thinks otherwise? That’s because only 5% have the balls to accept that once we’re done here, we’re done forever. Look up, though…it’s not like we’ll know it. We’ll be done, and thus nothing, or the space between the borders of 0, while the world goes on without us. That’s right, the world does exist without you in it.
Life is waiting to die. You’re a giant walking compost heap, fertilizing the world around you. We leave little bits and pieces of ourselves where we sit, and various microbes feed on you from the inside out.
In the back of all our minds, don’t we know this already? Why do you think Moslems kill Israelites, or visa versa? Or why zealots of pro-life shoot abortion doctors? When was the last time god needed any help in his smiting? Deep down, we know there is no heaven or hell, and that punishment belongs in our hands, to mete out to the guilty when we believe we’ve been wronged. Life is the rarest of gifts, death the ultimate of punishments.

But then, maybe there is a God. Does he care, though? Do you hear the screams of mortality from your dust mites? Do you hear their pleas when they become sick, and cry out in sorrow? Do you know Dust Mite Bob? How about his date of birth? When he got married? When he had little Dust Mite Bob Junior, did you know he thanked you? Did you know that when his wife died, and he cried every night in anguish, tears streaking his pillow, he asked you to watch over her? Did you know that Dust Mite Bob’s life was snuffed out just the other day, and now he’s rotting under your skin?
Our universe is continuously expanding, and one day, far, far into the future, it will dissipate, like gas particles in a big open field. Oh, that’s just some silly scientific “theory?” Go stand on the edge of a black hole, and tell me what really happens. Tell me if you accelerate towards the speed of light, or that as you enter the event horizon, you aren’t torn atom from atom. Test that theory, and just give us all a ring when you’re done. The universe is God’s fart, and our reality stinks.

On the other hand, perhaps God does know we exist. Maybe he did create heaven and hell, the angels, you and me, and everything in between. Maybe he fashioned all the rules, is omnipotent, and exists outside our concept of time and space. Is he the Father? Then the deck has been stacked, and in all likelihood, your father hates you.
How can I say such a horrible thing? Did God not put Hitler on this earth? Did God not put that bully, that robber, that rapist, that killer, and all those other nasty things here to torment the “innocent,” knowing full well what, when, where, and how, it would happen? No? That was Satan’s fault?
God created Lucifer, and his current residence, from nothing, and knew what the angel would do before the poor devil had done it. God, whether directly or indirectly, created all these things, and knew the outcome, just as he knows you scratched your ass yesterday. If you’re “evil,” an atheist, agnostic, gay, American Indian, Hindu, Jewish, Moslem, or anything not “Christian,” or Catholic, then he made you, or allowed you to be made, to go directly to hell; regardless of nature or nurture.
How does it feel to know that your father made you to suffer for all eternity? You’re not wanted, and never were, from the moment of conception (not to mention both before and after). If I were Lucifer, I would have quit a long time ago. You can’t win. You know you can’t win. You know that the only father you ever knew hates you so much, he made hell your prison. The Lord of Flies, or the Lord of Rejection? Where would Lucifer go if he committed suicide? Home? I think we give him to much credit. If I were Lucifer, I would have given up caring a long time ago. Can Lucifer quit his job?
Then again, Lucifer isn’t human, is he? He was made to fill a specific and single-minded role, as a puppet. Hell is a God owned property, and God is the slumlord. He made Hellview Apartments, and appointed Lucifer the manager. He’s choosing who goes where, like a bouncer at the door of a posh club. Lucifer isn’t torturing you for all eternity, God is. Lucifer is just there to make sure the rent is collected on time.

God can’t hate you? That can’t be true? Then that would mean someone, along the path of religion’s development, has lied. Why do you think anything construed as anti-religious, anything that could cause doubt in what is popularly read, is conspicuously missing from any school book less than college level? Manipulation and molding are much easier on a young mind, one gullible and not so set in its ways.
Proof? Gilgamesh, a Babylonian version of Noah’s flood, was penned before Noah himself is said to have existed, as written in the bible. The notion of Adam was taken from the idea of “the first man,” who after having lived one thousand, five hundred, and sixty years, “produced” a tree from which the human race was born. The seed of hell sprung from Babylonian origin, became the Sheol of the Jews, and finally wound up as the Christian’s idea of hell. My sources? Sources, in a religious argument, matter nothing to the one arguing for religion. If I quote a source, it then becomes a matter of whom my source quoted. Like standing between parallel mirrors.
Religion states man isn’t perfect, yet man wrote the bible, even if some of the information came from a burning bush, or a thunder cloud to Moses. Bits and pieces have been left out over the millennia, like an editor snipping a badly articulated editorial. How about the book of Enoch, or Jesus' supposed childhood? All oddly missing from the final cut, the one that reached the hands of the masses. Not to mention that the King James version of the bible, the copy so widely accepted as the one “true” gospel, was produced by the hands of Catholics, who for centuries practiced the convolution of biblical writings for financial, political, and sexual gain.
Did you know that the papal crown was offered up for sale on more than one occasion? Benedict IX, who landed upon that cushy throne at the tender age of twelve, passed no chance to ring up more points on the ol' depravity and debauchery score hanging over that prestigious position. But then, we seem to know that what is written by man, as supposedly given by God, isn’t true. Why do you think Jihads and religious persecutions occur? You break a man’s jaw, and he won’t be able to speak. It only takes one hole in a raft to let the ocean in.
What does all this mean then? It probably means that you should have heart, and that God, if he exists, loves you for the work of art he created you to be. After all, God’s not likely to make mistakes. If so, I guess he wasn’t God in the first place. But then again, I’ve never spoken to God via nature, so I’m forced to admit I’m not on a person-to-deity relationship with him.

What do I believe? Not that it really matters, but the question has probably surfaced in your mind. I believe that science and religion are one and the same. Heretical? I’m going to hell? Save your mouth for giving me head, because, as you can plainly read, I don’t believe in such a place…and no amount of whining, hate spewing, and finger jiggling is going to change that. You want to get in my face and force your point of view, perhaps with a big stick to beat it into me? I’ll grab that little branch, shove it up your ass, break off the end so you can’t pull it out, and then laugh at you when you wobble around like an albatross.
Now, let me explain my reasoning for what was written a moment ago. When I was a boy, I bought some obscure board game from a yard sale, minus the directions. Sitting down at that board, with my sibling, I could do one of two things. I could, A: Simply play the game without a care of it all; or B: Use all mental faculties I possessed to figure out the rules.
Religion spends all of its time haphazardly playing the game and carelessly flinging the pieces about, and science spends all of its time picking apart the most minute of details, never bothering to have fun with what he has before him. Just because science wants to figure out the rules, though, doesn’t mean that “God” didn’t write them. As long as the two bicker, snarl, and bite, there’s never going to be a happy medium. If there was a “Satan,” he would certainly flourish in such a chaotic climate.
At one point I was strongly atheistic, but something my father said to me, who oddly enough is also an atheist, changed my view in one brilliant flash of insight. “Son? You can explain away everything, all the way to the big bang, but at some point, there’s nothing left, and you have to accept the inevitability of something else.” Next stop, agnostic.
I decided that yes indeed, there was some massive power beyond any human comprehension, but religion wasn’t the answer. Anything that would threaten, torture, and murder the innocent, all in the name of unholy righteousness, was, in my eyes, plainly “evil.” I didn’t need to be a certified theologian, or spend years going to church, to reach that conclusion.
But then, if God did exist, and assuming he could hear us, why would he be so interested in what occurred in the world around us? Why would he use up so much energy to make the jump from inorganic material to organic material? What’s that you say? Inorganic material? What do you think you’re made of? Minerals found in the dirt, oxygen mixed in, and a good ol' cup of water to finish it off. You are molecules composed of atoms, composed of electrons and neutrons, composed of tiny little quarks and such. Our brain interprets your table as being made of wood, metal, or plastic, but in reality, what you’re interacting with is a complex field of force.
The only conclusion I could draw, the only scenario I could produce, would involve me jumping forward a few billion light years into the future. Man is the only animal that, with the development of his brain, no longer has to be subject to natural selection due to our environment. If it becomes cold, we throw on some furs. If saber-toothed tigers invaded our home, we picked up our flint ax and started whoopin' some big furry butt. Speed forward a coupla million years, and now, through inducing focused unnatural selection upon ourselves, we can manipulate our own genes. The world freezes over? We create genes that give us the abilities of polar bears, and we walk around buck-naked. Gets to hot to travel any distance on foot? We improve our own cooling systems.
Now make that jump I said earlier, to the end of our ever expanding gas bubble of a universe, when the distances between galaxies have become so great that you can’t reach your neighbor without breaking the known laws of physics, and we’re now faced with not only the possibility of extinction, but with a complete lack of existence. Shrinking the universe would take to much, and there is no other star that can warm us enough to not freeze into solid chunks of pretty symmetrical ice crystals.
What then? Perhaps defy time, that forever-marching bastard, and step out of its confines? We have now become something more. We are, or have become, for lack of a better word, “God.” Now, the survival of the puny human race is essential to “God’s” own survival, and what you and I had for breakfast is of great interest to that omnipotent power beyond our current concept of time and space.
But you belong to a religion, and my point of view is disconcerting to you, or even downright manic? Perk up, for I do believe there is a place for whatever religion you may follow. “Hell,” or some other place of punishment, is needed for a society to advance. Where would we be if the rules set down by Moses or Hammurabi still applied? We’d be stuck at “you kill my dog, I’ll kill yours,” and thus not much better off than most of the countries of the Middle East. It’s easier to let go of the fact your next-door neighbor cuts up and eats your kid when hell looms behind them like a mountain.

Well you don’t like conventional mainstream religions, and you don’t like what I’ve just put forth, so what’s a person to believe in? Good question, for we all need something to grasp to make the thought of death bearable.
How about Theosophy? This is the principle that upon man’s death, one moves through several stages before ultimately merging with God. So what’s the first stage? The victim, being unable to cope with his or her own demise, clings desperately to a wispy version of life, thus suffering. This is Theosophies version of hell, and luckily, only lasts about as long as the average living human’s lifespan, changing when the soul reaches “enlightenment.” Although I must point out that it’s written that, should you be sufficiently spiritual upon death, you can “will” yourself past this first step. A couple of phases further in your new afterlife, you will be able to create any reality you wish with only a thought. This, I would think, could have its perks.
You could go the route of “Satanist.” No, not the Satanist on television or in movies, who sits around reading the bible backwards. This would be too much trouble.
